That which can exist (all the other transcendentals are interchangeable with this and vice versa)
- Unity (a.k.a. Oneness or The One)
Being considered undivided in itself
- Truth
Being conformed to thought
- Goodness (a.k.a. The Good)
Being considered as suitable for desire
- Thing (a.k.a. Quiddity or Nature)
Being considered as essence
- Something
Being as distinct from other beings
- Beauty (a.k.a. The Beautiful)
Arguably, a combination of Truth and Goodness (however, many Thomists dispute whether Beauty is actually a Transcendetal).
